Monster Hunter Wilds is getting an update on March 4, one that will bring a number of bug fixes to address issues players have encountered continuing the game's story and unlocking key features.

Currently, some players are encountering a bug that prevents them from continuing to make story progress during Chapter 5-2 "A World Turned Upside Down," due to a required NPC not appearing. Some players have also run into an issue that is causing the "Grill a Meal" and "Ingredient Center" features to not unlock as intended. Both features are usually unlocked as part of the main quest.

Players online when the update arrives at 12 AM PT / 3AM ET on March 4 will be removed from their online session and required to download the update to continue playing online, according to the official Monster Hunter Status X account, which posts updates about known issues and upcoming fixes.
